Fabrication & Maintenance
Danholsen delivers end-to-end fabrication, structural repair, and maintenance services for oil and gas operators, construction contractors, and marine operators across Nigeria. Our teams combine field-proven workmanship with disciplined quality control to produce structural components, pipework, and mechanical assemblies that perform reliably under demanding operating conditions.
Our track record includes Chevron’s Pig Launcher and Receiver project, offshore stanchion and beam repairs for Total, and pipeline fabrication and tie-in works for NAOC and AMNI International. Every scope is executed with in-process inspection and final NDT sign-off before handover.
Structural Fabrication
We fabricate walkways, handrails, pipe racks, skids, decking, riser clamps, and offshore structural components to approved client drawings and specifications. All welding is performed by qualified welders under certified welding inspectors, with full dimensional checks and NDT verification.
Pipeline & Piping Fabrication
Our pipeline fabrication capability covers carbon and alloy piping systems for process, utility, and injection services. We manage cutting, fit-up, welding, and hydrostatic testing to deliver complete spool pieces and piping assemblies ready for installation.
Maintenance & Repair
Danholsen provides both planned and emergency maintenance for process equipment, structural steel, and pipeline systems. Our intervention scopes include weld repairs, corrosion remediation, composite wrapping, and mechanical restoration with rapid mobilisation to minimise production downtime.
Surface Treatment & Coating
We provide surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and industrial coating services for steelwork, pipelines, and vessels. Coating activities are supervised to NACE and BGAS standards, with holiday detection and DFT verification to assure long-term coating integrity.
Service Growth
Our fabrication and maintenance operations continue to grow through consistent project delivery, strict QA/QC, and rapid field mobilisation. By integrating certified welding, NDT verification, and responsive maintenance planning, we help clients protect asset integrity and reduce unplanned shutdowns.

Related Questions to Service
Why is QA/QC critical in fabrication projects?
QA/QC controls ensure every weld, dimension, and material meets project specifications before installation. At Danholsen, in-process inspections and final NDT sign-off reduce rework, improve reliability, and strengthen long-term asset performance.
Can Danholsen support offshore and onshore scopes?
Yes. Our teams execute fabrication, structural repairs, and maintenance across offshore platforms, marine facilities, and onshore process plants, with safe mobilisation and supervision aligned to client HSE requirements.
What fabrication standards do you work to?
We work to approved project procedures and applicable client specifications, with certified welding oversight and quality documentation at each stage. Coating activities are supervised with NACE/BGAS practices including DFT and holiday testing.
How quickly can emergency maintenance teams mobilise?
Danholsen mobilises response teams rapidly from Port Harcourt for weld repairs, corrosion remediation, and mechanical restoration. Our objective is to stabilise equipment safely and return operations to service with minimal downtime.
Can you handle both one-off repairs and long-term contracts?
Absolutely. We support single-scope interventions as well as planned maintenance frameworks for operators seeking consistent performance, transparent reporting, and dependable execution over the long term.
